Effective September 19, 2026
What we collect. When you join the beta, we collect the information you submit, including your first and last name, email address, phone number, consent choices, and support or feedback messages. When you use SaferRing, we may also process service-setup information, enrolled phone-line and carrier details, caller phone numbers, timestamps, call-routing and screening results, device and technical logs, and security signals.
Screening data. During the screening portion of an incoming call, SaferRing may collect and process audio, transcripts, the caller’s stated name and reason for calling, responses to the AI assistant, consent status, and indicators associated with spam, fraud, or social engineering. SaferRing is designed not to record the conversation after the caller is connected to the beta participant. Callers should hear a clear disclosure and be asked for legally valid consent before screening audio is recorded or transcribed.
How we use information. We use information to enroll and support beta participants; operate, route, screen, block, and troubleshoot calls; detect abuse and security threats; evaluate and improve screening performance; communicate service and safety information; enforce our terms; and comply with legal obligations.
SaferRing Privacy Notice
How information is shared. We may provide information to service providers that help operate SaferRing, including website and form hosting, telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, AI processing, analytics, support, and security providers. For the beta, these providers may include Squarespace and Twilio. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or asset transfer. Service providers are expected to process information only for authorized purposes.
Storage and retention. Beta signup submissions are stored through Squarespace’s form-submission and contact tools. Screening data and technical records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the beta, security, service improvement, dispute resolution, and legal obligations, after which they may be deleted or de-identified. Exact periods may vary by data type and operational need.
Security. SaferRing uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security. Do not submit sensitive financial, medical, or government-identification information through the beta signup form.
Your choices and rights. You may ask to access, correct, or delete your beta information, withdraw from the beta, or opt out of nonessential communications by emailing support@saferring.com. We will honor applicable legal rights after verifying the request. Withdrawing consent may prevent SaferRing from providing screening.
Children. The beta is not intended for anyone under 18, and SaferRing does not knowingly collect beta enrollment information from children.
United States processing. Information may be processed in the United States and other places where SaferRing’s providers operate.
Changes and contact. We may update this Notice as the beta changes. The effective date above shows the latest revision. Questions or privacy requests: support@saferring.com.
This Notice should be reviewed by qualified privacy counsel before a public launch.
